Amed, Sapphire of The East Bali

Well Known as one of The best place for diving & Snorkling in Bali, Amed Located in Karangasem Regency about 80km to the east from Denpasar City. It's a 'far far away' place but, never dissapointed or got me bored so far. It takes about 2,5 hours to get to this place, and you better rent a motorbike or car beacause there is no public transport access to Amed. Like Bob Dylan said "It's a long road...It's a long and narrow way", yes it is! Amed has small road along the villages must becareful when drive arround this little road.

Amed has wonderful 'sapphire' water and also beautiful underwater scenes, one of the best among the famous Dive sites in Bali such as ; Tulamben, Lembongan,  Nusa Penida, Menjangan, etc. But, unfortunately my camera is 'allergic' to the water so i don't have the picture for now. Even though I already experience myself by snorkling a little bit area and I really amaze, such a great experience!

Uniquely Amed is the spot for Sunrise and Sunset. In the morning you can see the beatiful sun rises from the horizon enjoy it while you walk along the sands. And in the afternoon be sure to watch the sun hidding behind The Greast Mount Agung from Jemeluk hill.

Exploring Amed not enough just one day, you should take a few days here. Don't worry about place to sleep there's many villas and hotels with affordable price that suite with your budget.
So why don't you come and experience it yourself...Let's Explore! :)
